Duties and responsibilities
- Manage the course coordination of assigned learning programmes
- Enrol students on Moodle (LMS), ensure students receive log in details – manage the onboarding process
- Ensure all programme schedules are updated and loaded on Moodle course sites
- Ensure all relevant SETA processes and procedures followed including Admin and reports
- Prepare and manage all learner Portfolio of Evidence Docs (PoE) for each programme (under guidance of Programme Director)
- Send out all PoE docs to students and monitor collections
- Upload students onto relevant SETA portal
- Ensure timeous delivery of programmes assigned to them – weekly release of assignments, content, mailers, etc.
- Manage any student queries or direct them to applicable person
- Provide student support and coaching
- Schedule Facilitators and Content Manager for workshops and tutorials, create zoom links and send out invites to learners and facilitators
- Ensure all workshop information updated on course site, and workshop slides, activities and assessments all loaded timeously;
- QA programme sites and prepare all comms and weekly mailers to students
- Manage the assessment process, including scheduling of assessors, moderators and verification
- Provide required reports to clients
- Keep Team Status Doc and all programme tracking docs up to date
- Report back weekly on all programme progress
- Deliver a premium student experience.
MUST have:
Degree or Diploma in a Psychology or hold a BA Degree
Experience of Google Suite, particularly Gmail, Sheets and Drive
Familiar with Zoom and scheduling capabilities
Fine attention to detail
Excellent communication and writing skills
Passion for lifelong learning
Suitable remote working environment
Advantageous
Knowledge of SETAs and corporate training landscape (preference for MICT, Services and Sabpp)
Experience in managing and/or coordinating academic programmes (MICT and Services would be advantageous)
Evidence of successful verification for learnerships and skills programmes
Registered assessor and/or moderator.
Preferably with the following qualifications:
- MICT: 58820; 90721 (LP ID: 60509)
- Services: 59201 (LP ID 74512; 60269)
Knowledge of relevant regulatory body requirements (e.g. SAQA, DHET and CHE)
