It’s no longer acceptable to just talk about South Africa’s screaming need for job creation. It’s time for action and the best way to create jobs is to encourage and empower entrepreneurs to start and build great businesses.

As a Creative School of Business, Red & Yellow is focused on the future. We want to be the catalyst for change. Our vision for the course is to equip bright budding entrepreneurs with the skills and practical knowledge to take great ideas and turn them into sustainable businesses.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN ACTION specifically designed…

A 10-week blended-learning course, exclusive to Red & Yellow, offering the convenience of online learning, amplified by weekly lectures from Karen Hidden, with many years’ experience and a Masters in Inclusive Innovation. Lectures can be attended on our beautiful campus, live streamed or downloaded for viewing later.

Content is based on real-life experience from leading Knowledge Partners in the industry (who are actively involved in incubating and supporting young entrepreneurs), and packaged in our own unique way. At the end, the individual assignments combine into a robust business plan which can be used to present to venture capitalists and angel investors.

And the clincher… None other than the inimitable Dawn Nathan-Jones – hugely successful business woman and the only female judge on MNet’s Shark Tank – has agreed to review the top 67 pitches and provide invaluable feedback.

We’ve set ourselves a Mandela Day Challenge to sponsor 67 young budding black entrepreneurs to take our life-changing Entrepreneurship in Action course – a course specifically designed to help first-time entrepreneurs get their business off the ground successfully and sustainably.

HELP US DRIVE THIS CHANGE

We can’t do this by ourselves. We need corporates to help sponsor students so that we can achieve our goal of transforming 67 young budding entrepreneurs who have the spirit and are poised for greatness, but not the skills to take the next step. They, in turn, will create jobs and transform many more lives.

For every sponsorship you make, we’ll match it with one of our own.

The cost is R12 500 per student. A small dent in your Corporate Social Responsibility budget will have a massive impact on this country. The full amount can be claimed against your Enterprise Development spend.

Apart from the obvious feeling of joy and satisfaction you will gain, we will also pay tribute to your contribution by adding your logo on our website, and mentioning our sponsors wherever possible in our media coverage.

We are launching this in the week following Youth Day (16 June 2018), so the sooner you commit, the more exposure you’ll get.

Do you share our vision that education can save this country? This is your chance to play a role and make a difference.
