In this module, you will learn all about the business analysis process. You will learn how to analyse the
business environment to identify business needs, problems or opportunities. You will learn how to perform
a gap analysis and determine the most appropriate solution, define and You will also be introduced to the
concept of ethics and the implications of professional conduct in the modern business environment.
Supporting Effective Business Analysis
In Module 2, you will learn all about the processes that support effective business analysis. includes a thorough exploration of stakeholder analysis and management, planning for business analysis, project management, riskmanagement,requirementsmanagement, effective communication, problem-solving techniques, and error detection. This module will help you in ensuring that your work as a business analyst is informed and effective.
Determining, managing and communicating requirements
In this module, you will learn how to gather information from stakeholders with the purpose of identifying the requirements that are needed to implement the solution. ‘Requirements’ mainly refers to what the solution must do, i.e., the functions it will perform. Requirements can also refer to aspects such as organisation structure, processes, IT systems, the solution’s quality, and usability. Finally, we delve into getting stakeholder approval of the requirements and drawing up all the necessary requirements documentation.
Designing and Delivering information systems
This module focuses on information systems. The module includes an exploration of the components to a system, the role of systems thinking in business analysis, and the Systems Development Lifecycle.
