OVERVIEW

The Art of Management blended training solution is an accredited, B-BBEE-optimised Skills Programme designed to drive radical change in your organisation by upskilling your staff in the area in which most businesses fall short – junior- and middle-management. The programme will teach delegates the basics of effective management and good leadership, introduce them to labour relations and how to deal fairly with employees, and dive into the core principles of business finance and accounting.

OUTLINE

The skills programme will provide your staff with the necessary skills for:
• leading and managing people using mentoring techniques
• developing key networking relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• establishing constructive relationships with managers and colleagues
• minimising personal conflict within teams and within the organisation
• recruiting, managing and handling poor performance and misconduct of staff in accordance with national legislation
• understanding the essentials behind creating financial statements
analysing financial statements to identify implications on future business success.

OUTCOMES

  • Staff receive the knowledge and practical skills needed to become effective managers
  • The blended learning approach uses the latest online learning techniques and interactive workshops, addressing a range of learning styles
  • Content is delivered with interactive workshops that, allow for discussion and interaction with the content, and help to keep staff motivated and on track
  • Provides successful students with credits towards a National Certificate in Generic Management (NQF 5)
  • All training costs for this programme count towards your skills development are not capped at 15%
  • Assists in achieving organisational training objectives
