You will gain a solid footing from which to study further or enter the advertising industry in an entry level position. Through the course work you will discover how your aptitude and skill set can be channeled to a career in copywriting, client service, graphic design and art direction or production. At the end of one year, you'll be ready to begin your career with industry relevant knowledge and perspective.
You and the course
You will work hard, gain a wealth of knowledge and insight, and realise your own potential within a given specialisation of the advertising industry. Perhaps you will surprise yourself at how much you're capable of. You'll need to have a keen interest and motivation to pursue a career in the advertising world, whether it be through an entry-level role or furthering your studies at Red & Yellow or another teritary institution upon completion of the course. Whichever path you choose, you'll be work-ready and prepared for anything that comes your way.
Fees and Application Criteria
All school leavers are welcome to apply to study at Red & Yellow’s Johannesburg or Cape Town campus.
Requirements for the program are:
- A valid Senior Certificate
- A 400 - 1000 word letter of motivation
- An interest in pursuing a career in Advertising or an industry related field.
Course fees : R 41,900.00 for the year (2017)
