This module is where research and theory  meets making. You’ll experiment with connecting complex ideas to your creative practice through hands-on design projects. From creating hand-rendered work to designing digitally, you’ll tackle real-world challenges through three campaigns – each one more ambitious than the last. Along the way, you’ll reflect critically on your choices and push your creativity into uncharted territory.

Turn big ideas into real, viable offerings.  You’ll explore what it means to design for humans, build with empathy, and shape brand stories that resonate. By the end, you’ll have a creative business plan you can defend with confidence – and the critical self-awareness and tools to bring your creative venture to life

This is where it all comes together. With support from a research supervisor, you’ll refine your proposal, dive deep into your visual research, and produce a body of design work backed by a sharp, theory-rich dissertation. You’ll explore the push-pull between practice and research, and wrap it all up with a critically curated exhibition that showcases your journey. One final artefact. One powerful story. All yours.
