Highlights from the 2025 Career Fair

This year the Red & Yellow campus transformed into a launchpad for future careers. Our 2025 Career Fair brought together some of South Africa’s most influential creative agencies, innovative brands, and high-growth companies all under one roof, all eager to connect with the next generation of talent.

From networking sessions to impromptu portfolio reviews, students had the chance to explore their future and engage with professionals who are actively shaping the industries they aspire to join. Whether their passions lie in marketing, design, tech, business, or the creative arts, this was where careers began. This year saw:

  • Over 300 students in attendance
  • 20+ leading brands and businesses
  • Interactive stands and workshops
  • Opportunities for portfolio sharing and connection

1. The Up&Up Group

What they do: Brand strategy. Creative campaigns. Content that moves people.

A proudly South African conglomerate agency that believes in elevating both brands and people. The Up&Up Group‘s collaborative, purpose-driven culture gave students real insight into working at the intersection of creative excellence and strategic thinking.

2. Happy Friday Creative

What they do: Creative storytelling across digital and traditional platforms.

Happy Friday Creative brought big energy and bigger ideas. With a reputation for offbeat, highly original campaigns, they showed students what it means to work in a fast-paced agency where ideas rule and Fridays really do make you happy.

3. Publicis Groupe Africa

What they do: A global network of agencies under one powerful roof.

From data to design, Publicis Groupe Africa showed students how scale and creativity can coexist. Their presence was a reminder that global impact can begin at a local level, with talent, passion, and purpose.

4. The Foschini Group (TFG)

What they do: Fashion, beauty, home, and lifestyle retail across Africa.

As one of Africa’s biggest retail giants, TFG gave students a peek into the creative and strategic roles behind every campaign, catalogue, and customer experience. Future merchandisers, designers, and marketers, take note!

5. Ogilvy South Africa

What they do: Iconic advertising. Big ideas. Human truths.

With a legacy of award-winning campaigns and a future focused on innovation, Ogilvy inspired students to think like problem-solvers and storytellers. Their stand was buzzing with conversations about what it takes to be great and stay great.

7. Sable International

What they do: Global mobility, education, and financial solutions.

For students dreaming of studying, working, or building careers abroad, Sable International offered advice and real-world guidance. Their global perspective opened up pathways beyond borders.

8. Roger Wilco

What they do: Digital marketing, development, and customer experience.

Roger Wilco offered a deep dive into the world of performance-driven creativity. From data-led content to full-stack development, they showed students how to build digital solutions that deliver.

9. Junctn Connect

What they do: Connecting brands with creators and influencers.

Junctn Connect plays in the fast-moving space where content meets commerce. They sparked interest among students eager to explore influencer marketing, content strategy, and the creator economy.

What they do: Digital product and experience design.

MakeReign is where UX meets beauty, and business meets usability. Their team gave design and tech students a fresh look at what it takes to craft digital experiences that people love and that brands depend on.

10. Quay 1 International Realty

What they do: Real estate with a creative twist.

With a unique take on property marketing, Quay 1 showed students how creativity and branding play a pivotal role in one of the most competitive markets in the country.

11. Dentsu Creative South Africa

What they do: Modern creativity with a global edge.

As part of the Dentsu network, this powerhouse blends strategy, storytelling, and tech to reshape how brands connect with people. Students walked away with a sense of what it means to work at the cutting edge of creative transformation.

12. Fieldbar

What they do: Design-led cooler boxes and lifestyle gear.
Fieldbar’s beautifully designed stand reflected their brand ethos: functional products with aesthetic flair. They offered students a look into product design, brand storytelling, and eCommerce done right.

13. Games Global

What they do: Online gaming development and technology.
Games Global gave tech and design students a backstage pass to one of the fastest-growing entertainment sectors. From user experience to backend development, the possibilities were endless.

14. WPP Media

What they do: Media strategy, buying, and data innovation.

WPP Media offered insight into how media powers the modern marketing mix. Data-led, audience-focused, and always evolving, their team inspired the media planners and strategists of tomorrow.

15. Salt Recruitment

What they do: Global recruitment for creative, tech, and marketing industries.

Salt knows talent, and how to place it. Their advice and tips on CV building, portfolio curation, and standing out in interviews were gold for students eager to make their mark.

16. My Friend Ned

What they do: Creative recruitment with heart.

Quirky name, serious insights. My Friend Ned specialises in connecting creative thinkers with opportunities where they can thrive. Their booth was a hub for meaningful conversations about fit, culture, and career paths.

17. Octotel Fibre

What they do: Fibre infrastructure and internet services.

Octotel connected with students curious about careers in tech, infrastructure, and operations. As the backbone of Cape Town’s internet access, they offered a surprising look at the opportunities behind the scenes of everyday connectivity.

18. RSA Web

What they do: Cloud, connectivity, and cybersecurity solutions.

RSA Web brought the tech talk, plus practical tips on how to build a career in cloud computing, software development, and IT support. A must-visit for the digitally minded.

19. We Are Rival

What they do: Youth marketing and culture strategy.

We Are Rival’s team brought unmatched energy and deep cultural insight. They showed students how brands can stay relevant, connected, and youth-focused in a world that never stops moving.

20. Hollywood Bets

What they do: Sports betting and gaming with a strong community impact.

Beyond the betting slips, Hollywood Bets is a major player in tech, customer experience, and social development. Their presence highlighted the breadth of career opportunities in unexpected industries.
