Carmen began her career as a graphic designer in the fast-paced world of advertising. Since then she has been lucky enough to have been involved in the education of South Africa’s most talented young creatives for the past 20 years. She currently leads the academic team at Red & Yellow and is committed to growing Red & Yellow into the most creative business school in the world. She also authors the annual employability report.

Gillian Rightford

Gillian has been a mainstay of the South African advertising landscape for more than 30 years. She obtained a Business Science (Honours) degree in Marketing from UCT, worked for Perry & Associates (Marketing Consulting), before becoming Managing Director of Hercules / DMB&B / D’Arcy and then Group Managing Director of Lowe Bull.

She started Adtherapy in 2007, a company that aims to help marketers optimise their advertising through skills, structure, strategy, and relationships.
