Nini van der Walt

I am a creative designer, art director, cultural activist, philanthropist, and lecturer with over 27 years of experience. My experience spans the fields of arts, culture and heritage, and a variety of creative and academic industries. My fields of expertise include design and visual communication for publication, film, web, advertising and corporate media. I am skilled in all forms of visual communication, but have a special fondness for concept development in both print and digital design – I love smart design! I also love typography, cheese, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and everything in, on, and under the ocean.

A'isha Dollie

Lecturer

A’isha Dollie strives to make art & design education fun, accessible and meaningful! A lecturer who practices what she preaches, striving for life-long learning & a balanced lifestyle. A life dedicated to teaching, learning, creating, and exploring. She has a BA Visual Comms Design, PGCE Specialising in Further Education & Training, and a PGDip Educational Tech.

Carmen Schaefer

Head of Academics

Carmen began her career as a graphic designer in the fast-paced world of advertising. Since then she has been lucky enough to have been involved in the education of South Africa’s most talented young creatives for the past 20 years. She currently leads the academic team at Red & Yellow and is committed to growing Red & Yellow into the most creative business school in the world. She also authors the annual employability report.
